AVIS System – A Step Toward the Smart and Automated Railway of the Future.
The AVIS (Audio-Visual Information System) for passenger information, developed and implemented by Enetel Solutions, has been successfully deployed on the new Subotica–Belgrade high-speed railway line.
The launch of the modern 180-kilometer railway section between Subotica and Belgrade marks a new chapter in the development of railway transport in Serbia. The first “Inter City” train, known as “Soko”, departed from Subotica station toward Belgrade, officially opening one of the most advanced railway routes in the region.
As part of this major infrastructure project, Enetel Solutions implemented the AVIS system — an advanced information platform designed for automated passenger communication. The system enables centralized management of departure and arrival data, as well as real-time display and broadcast of information through synchronized digital screens and audio channels at all relevant stations.

On the new high-speed line, AVIS provides passengers with timely and accurate updates on schedules, route changes, potential delays, and service notifications, significantly improving the quality and accessibility of railway services.
The system is designed as a modular and scalable solution, easily adaptable to various railway environments and integrable with other infrastructure systems — forming a reliable foundation for further digitalization and automation within the transport sector.
This project represents an important step in Serbia’s broader railway transformation and a move toward a smart, automated, and technologically advanced railway network of the future.
As a long-term partner in the digitalization of critical infrastructure systems, Enetel Solutions is proud to contribute to the development of safer, more efficient, and modern railway operations, fully aligned with European standards and the needs of today’s passengers.
